What was I thinking? I mean..."Atlas Shrugged"????!? What was I thinking? I meant "Alas, Babylon". Jeez... two words, first one starts with an "A". Some days I'm so easily confused... I think I need a glass of wine.

;-)Rebecca Hartonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17870223396233596067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27163849.post-35238242848978348892008-02-28T22:36:00.000-06:002008-02-28T22:36:00.000-06:00I usually pull up youtube with a playlist of music...I usually pull up youtube with a playlist of musicals, and I sing like a wild-woman. Recently I've jumped to Sweeney Todd for obvious reasons, but yeah. Even the essence of cannibalism seems to cheer me up sometimes..Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12912742075664124302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27163849.post-58323398141048903912008-02-28T06:29:00.000-06:002008-02-28T06:29:00.000-06:00Rebecca, how about Alas, Babylon? Not the Christ...I really enjoy apocalyptic fiction. Not the Christian kind, though that can be fun if it's especially well-written. I'm think more of the "How I survived the atomic annihilation of 99.9999% of earth's population and learned to make a nifty campfire in the process" kind. "Atlas Shrugged" is a good one. Depending on how bad you're feeling health-wise, though, you might want to avoid the books where it's some kind of pandemic that kills people off. It can be a little freaky reading "The Stand" when you've got a touch of bronchitis.Rebecca Hartonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17870223396233596067noreply@blogger.com
