My daughter and I read each others victim impact statements last night.
I've said it time and time again, my daughter is amazing.
The statements offer the filler between our parallel lives when we were both just trying to survive life with this awful person.
Today will be spent at a training on gender justice at work. All about power, abuse of power, domination, and submission.
It's gonna be a long day.
On the upside, only three more days with this last name...

Dear Ms. Tina Harkness ;o} I found your blog as you had left a comment on a news article with a link to it (your blog of course). May I just wish you a happy, healthy weekend spent loving your kids and getting to know your NGF! You and your children are in my thoughts and prayers. By the way - love I MEAN LOVE the Tatts! A new reader and great admirerer Tabatha from Folsom, Ca.
Debbie/Christina,
I saw the link to your blog in the comments section of the Star Tribune article on sentencing differences for pedos in the family vs no in the family.
In the last 2 days I have read all of your postings from December 2008 to today. Wow. Simply wow.
In addition to being a very strong resilient woman (with amazing children and some great friends) you are also a phenomenal writer and blogger extraordinaire.
If/when you are in the Twin Cities, I would very much enjoy meeting you and taking you out to dinner. (I am a happily partnered gay man, with a full time job.)
I understand that you are wary of freaks, as well you should be, but I thought I would extend the offer.
In any case I will continue to read the saga of your life. Thank you for your bravery in sharing so much of your life with your readers.

Hi JB,
Always remember, crazy goes both ways but I promise that ax murdering charge a couple years ago was a set up! A set up!
I'll look you up when I'm down that way...and the invitation extend to you if/when you and your partner are in Duluth!
