I had a bit of a biological reaction to yesterday's insomnia. I came home, made dinner (strawberry crepes-YUM!) and then proceeded to sit down and become utterly comatose.
The problem came when I received a phone call from my daughter's new school. They have weird and wacky immunization requirements and we won't have time to catch her up on her Hunta Virus, Ebola, and Schistosomiasis shots. My son handed me my phone and I hopefully carried on a coherent conversation.
I know I asked my question of "WTF?" and I know she gave me a positive answer and everything will be ok but what I don't remember was WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO DO!
Do I start more shots here or does she get them all there?
I woke up at nine o'clock with my cell phone still in my hand and my face covered in drool.
I felt like a rock star!!
Since I'm not really in the mood to call them back up and say "So, have you ever had a meth addiction? If so, I'm sure you'll realize that it can put quite the crimp in your ability to recall certain events," I'm faced with making a choice of getting more shots or waiting.
And fitting it in to her weekends only schedule.
Maybe I'll just go back to sleep.
